2. Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Mission, SD
3. Describe your high school experience:
I attended Todd County High School. I played football, basketball, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
4. From where did you graduate from college and with what degree(s)?
I graduated from Northern State University in 2017 with a degree in Human Performance and Fitness.
5. What do you teach/coach/lead at Northwestern?
I teach elementary PE, 9th grade Health/Wellness, Weightlifting and I help with iSucceed. I also coach football and boys basketball.
6. How long have you been here?
First year. Previously coached here for 2 years in 2016.
7. When did you realize you wanted to become a teacher/para/admin/business manager/etc.?
When I started coaching. I enjoy helping students and I had the opportunity to return home and teach so I took advantage of that opportunity.
8. What is rewarding about your job?
Having the opportunity to work with so many students of different ages throughout the day.
9. If you could have any other job what would it be?
Wildland Firefighter
10. Who is your biggest role model?
My dad
11. What are your hobbies?
I enjoy fishing, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

Teaching and coaching here at Northwestern

Hawaii
14. What type of music do you listen to?
All kinds. Rap, Rock, 90s Alternative, and a little bit of country.
15. What food is like a guilty pleasure to you?
Candy. Preferably hot tamales or sour patch kids.

Don’t make excuses, make it happen
