2. Where are you from and where did you grow up?
a. I grew up on a small farm north of Ashton.
3. Describe your high school experience:
a. I went to school here at Northwestern and graduated in 2016. I participated in football, basketball, cross country, track and field, band, chorus, FBLA, and FCA.
4. From where did you graduate from college and with what degree(s)?
a. I graduated from Northern State University in 2020 with a degree in Human Performance and Fitness with minors in health and coaching.
5. What do you teach/coach/lead at Northwestern?
a. I am a paraprofessional, assistant football coach, assistant girls’ basketball coach, and bus driver.
6. How long have you been here?
a. This is my first year at Northwestern.
7. When did you realize you wanted to become a teacher/para/admin/business manager/etc.?
a. I moved back close to home and realized that coming back to the school I grew up in was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!
8. What is rewarding about your job?
a. Because I work in many different areas within the school, I have the opportunity to interact with students and athletes of all ages here.
9. If you could have any other job what would it be?
a. It is a dream of mine to own my own large ranch with hundreds of cattle.
10. Who is your biggest role model?
a. My parents
11. What are your hobbies?
a. I enjoy playing and watching basketball, spending time with our pets, and working on the farm.
12. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
a. I plan on living and working here for the long haul!
13. If you could live anywhere else, where?
a. Finances aside, Florida
14. What type of music do you listen to?
a. I listen to 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s country and rock music.
15. What food is like a guilty pleasure to you?
a. I would eat red meat and Reese’s for every meal if I could.

a. A Little History of the World.
17. Who would play the lead in a movie about your life?
a. Sean Hayes
18. What super power do you wish you had?
a. Teleporting (never have to drive again!)
19. Biggest pet peeve?
a. I can’t stand when someone is interrupting someone else.
20. What advice do you have for the students of Northwestern?
a. It might not seem like it, but one day you’ll miss the craziness of the typical school day. All of the long classes, teacher interactions, student and athlete interactions, athletics, other extracurricular activities, and the joy of zero real responsibilities is a privilege that you’ll never get to have back. Enjoy the time you get here, and realize that life doesn’t get any better than when you’re here!
