Athletes Break Three More Records at LRC!
Sophomore Ella Boekelheide broke her fourth school record of the year at the Lake Region Conference meet, running a 1:00.13 time in the 400-meter dash and eliminating her sister Jessica’s 2022 record of 1:00.48. Ella has broken the school records in the 400-, 800-, 1600-, and 3200-meter races this season.
Freshman Ty Boekelheide broke the Lake Region Conference record in the triple jump with a leap of 42’10.5”, breaking the 2002 record of 42’5” held by Tyler Lee of Roslyn.
Junior Ana Ratigan broke her own school record in the javelin with a throw of 74’5”, beating her previous record this season of 70’9”.
