The Northwestern track team broke three school records at the Howard Wood Relays.
The boys medley team of senior Nathan Melius, freshman Ty Boekelheide, junior Josh Thorson, and senior Lincoln Woodring finished second and ran a time of 3:42.00, breaking the 1989 record of 3:42.55 held by Travis Akin, Chad Boekelheide, Craig Ehrich, and Dan Miller.
Sophomore Ella Boekelheide broke two of her own school records again, running a 2:15.07 in the Special 800-Meter Run, beating her previous time of 2:19.58 and a 5:05.70 in the 1600-meter run, beating her previous time of 5:11.31. She placed eighth and seventh in those events, respectively.
